Jane Riccobono, CNM, WHNP TEACHES meditation for Childbirth.

My METHOD

I see pregnancy as a journey that offers an opportunity to connect with deep truths about your life and yourself. It’s a rite of passage and an initiation into the next phase of who you’re becoming. My mission is to support you in experiencing pregnancy and birth with as much ease and confidence as possible.

Meditation

Learn meditation practices for deep relaxation, coping with labor pain, increasing courage and managing stress.

Movement

Move your body with intention. Connect with the wisdom of your body and heart.

Community

Meet other expectant parents during this unique, joyful and often challenging time.

Perinatal Coaching

Pregnancy is a turning-point moment. In your life, your identity and your soul’s journey. It’s a potent time. A reorganization of priorities from the most mundane to the deeply profound.

Unfortunately many of us are also experiencing unprecedented social isolation and loneliness. Sometimes even within a committed relationship.

Pregnancy is not a time to be alone. It’s a time to invite in more support than ever. I am here to provide support as you navigate pregnancy and the postpartum period.

In addition to supporting you to feel more confident in your ability to give birth, my intention is to guide you to embrace pregnancy and birth as fully as possible. Can we transform fear into empowered surrender? Can we experience pain as transformative change rather than pointless suffering?

In our sessions together we will explore these questions as well as your own unique needs as you prepare for childbirth. Through guided meditation, intention-setting, movement, and contemplative practices we will work with fear, anxiety and avoidance, and create space for your innate wisdom to reveal itself.

In addition to prenatal sessions I offer postpartum sessions for birth story integration and reclaiming your bodily integrity. These can be booked any time after giving birth—even years or decades later.

This is a path of fierce love—love for yourself, which will flow to your baby and beyond. This is the path of the tender warrior, the Goddess. You’re taking your place in the circle of mothers. Even if you’re already a mother, you may feel a calling to embody that role differently with this pregnancy and to step into it on a soul level.

If you’d like to work with me, send me a message here. I look forward to hearing from you!

“I appreciated Jane introducing us to a more Zen-ful approach to labor and childbirth that we hadn't yet been exposed to, even after attending multiple classes.”

— SPIKE, EXPECTANT DAD

“Loved it! Really helpful to walk through the process and anatomy of labor and practice different ways my partner was going to support me during the delivery.”

— SIMONE, EXPECTANT MOM

“It was nice to have a scheduled time set aside to talk about pregnancy, think about childbirth, and begin to feel prepared for what is to come. I especially liked intentionally building up my mindfulness practice over the weeks that we met. I'm missing that accountability now!”

— ANNE, EXPECTANT MOM
